Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State 2013-2015 and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki later served as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013.  There was speculation that Psaki would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to serve as communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until its conclusion.
